Ct. gave perdue pharma a youth award shortly after they switched to Oxycontin OP .. Is that state SO stupid as to think Plastic slows down a junkie !!!! Also Perdue pharma is MFG origional OC formulation for distribution thru APOTEX !!!! in the USA … Apotex is the largest supplier of generic meds in canada and owned 75% by perdue … So as perdue Pharma sells BOTH the new moore expensive less effective formula , they also MFG. the less expensive , moore abuseable OC formula and lets it’s subsidary pake the heat !! but with almost everyone in America believes Oxycontin to be a thing of the past !!! Perdue still makes it , sells it and makes the money from it !!!! while denying the generic exists … however Apotex says they will be sole distributer until april 2013 IS THIS JUST standard corperate greed ,, or a way to end pharmacy robbery , thru mis information, and allowing only a few walgreens to carry it ??

I am a Chronic pain pt. with MS. RSD. degen bone and disc disease , osteo imperfecta and was changed from Oxycontin OP because of polymer toxicity to OPANA , dut it was less effective in my back pain .. This month after hearing of the possible loophole asked my Dr. for a script of Oxycodone er .. he agreed , I went to walgreens and with the script writen oxycodone er 80 mg DAW I was given my good old medication that works !!!!

So knowing this WHY is anyone giving Perdue pharma an award !!! or any sort of public recognition as they have done nothing short of enflicting un needed pain on chronic pain patients across the USA seems we award dis honesty in this country mabe it is Time to admit that the DRUG war has caused moore harm than good

The war on drugs is unmitigated failure. While Purdue peddles the most addictive painkiller in the world, they give money to anti-marijuana organizations in hopes that they can keep there monopoly on pain killers. Marijuana is a better pain killer than OxyContin, it isn’t addictive like OxyContin, It doesn’t cause constipation like OxyContin, must I go on?
