Methadone is not the same as mephadrone
Methadone: Methadone is a narcotic pain reliever, similar to morphine. It also reduces withdrawal symptoms in people addicted to heroin or other narcotic drugs without causing the “high” associated with the drug addiction.
Methadone is used as a pain reliever and as part of drug addiction detoxification and maintenance programs.
Methadone may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.
Mephadrone: 4-Methylmethcathinone is a synthetic stimulant with empathogenic effects that is chemically similar to methcathinone. Between 2007 and 2009, it became available for purchase online, was used increasingly in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, associated with several deaths, and then controlled in some countries as a result. Because of the similarity in names, it is sometimes confused with ‘Methedrone’ (4-methoxymethcathinone) or ‘Methylone’ (bk-MDMA).
There is plenty of evidence that you can OD fom meow meow, whether this is on its own or in conjunction with other drugs being taken at the same time, only time will tell.
