Question by brooklyn resident: How can I talk to my friend about her cutting?
So basically I made a tumblr post about how I wanted to cut myself. My friend found out and asked me why and I told her cause I was stressed. She then showed me her cuts and I was completely shocked. She is such a sweet and kind girl. I didn’t ask her about her cuts after that. When I her saw her cuts they looked recently done. I’m not sure on how to approach her and ask her if she is seeing help or what her situation is. So……what should I do?

Eurge her to stop. For us cutters, its actually an addiction, especially for us who have depression. It releases endorphines which are like a drug since we are so numb to feeling. Its a slow process but relax.
