The reason why I’m asking is because a friend of mine wants to be an addiction treatment counselor. She told me so, and I just wanted to contact a few addiction treatment centers to ask them for requirements so that I may be able to tell my friend so she could start preparing.

Wow, what a good friend you are. I think it’s really great that your friend wants to become an addiction counselor. I don’t know much about them, but I think having experience regarding social work will be good. Different treatment centers may have different requirements, she’d probably have to take a program regarding addiction counseling.
